Deerskin has extremely fine fibers compared to other leathers, and collagen is intricately intertwined within these fibers.
This allows the oil to remain within the leather, maintaining a consistently moist, human-skin-like touch.
It also prevents hardening, keeping the leather perpetually soft.

While other leathers can harden or crack without maintenance, deerskin doesn't have this concern and maintains its condition over time.
